Ok, so I started the 2.2km slope, went about 100 m

Ok, so I started the 2.2km slope, went about 100 mtrs before falling down & recognising that I wasn’t quite ready for it at that stage. I picked my skies up, walked back up to the top & went back to the practice slopes instead.
I could have chosen to beat myself up about not making it down the 2.2km slope, but instead I chose to accept my own level & celebrate where I was.
We get to choose what we put our focus on, positive or negative, even though it can be difficult!

Are you waking up everyday excited for a new day, a fresh start, full of possibility & opportunities?
Or, like many of us, do you often wake & immediately start thinking about all of the tasks ahead of you? Do you sometimes get an ickey feeling at the thought of it all?
Are you someone who wakes up easily in the morning but then quickly starts procrastinating & can’t start the to do list as it feels too big?
Self-care doesn’t have to mean taking hours out of our day, that we don’t have, to get a massage or get our hair done etc. Self-care is more about the little things that we can do consistently, everyday to help us to regulate so that we can experience me ease in our day to day living.
There are many tools that we can use for free, whenever we can squeeze in a couple of minutes for ourself, such as; singing along to a fav tune in the car, dancing to a song or body shaking, taking a few deep & slow, intentional breaths. Getting out in nature, even a couple of minutes on a cuppa break can help.

Boundaries & Burnout!
A reminder that we all need to love & protect ourselves first & foremost, before we put ourselves out there to help & support others. This includes mumma’s & pappa’s raising young children!
We are not selfish for needing to take time for ourselves to rest & replenish our energy. I know this can feel very difficult to do & like I said in the video, it’s something that I (& I think many of us) regularly battle with!
If you are struggling with taking time for yourself, small breaks can make a big difference.
I encourage you to speak up, ask friends or family to help you out in whatever way it might help you… maybe look after the kids for a couple of hours or do a grocery shop for you/make you a dinner?
If alone, maybe do your food shop online & get it delivered, hire a baby sitter or unplug from your phone for a couple of days?
Anything that can help you out & lighten the load a little!

Feeling so grateful that I was able to spend 4 day

Feeling so grateful that I was able to spend 4 days up close & personal with these 4 legends + my first ever trip to the US to see them.
Each of them have such big hearts & passion for the messages that they bring! They do much needed work, through their books & tours, spreading world changing perspectives.
Bruce Lipton even bought my husband a coffee one morning 💕
Magical souls, who have each faced pushback/ridicule from their peers & discouragement from those around them and yet they have continued to speak their truths & follow their own paths.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank them all!! xx

The way we change the world is to start with ourselves, focusing on our own health & happiness, living life to the fullest, with as much love & joy as possible, taking life one day at a time.
I will be using the tools i learnt & sharing them with my community in Western Australia!

Soooo sooo excited!!! The time has come for me to head to Scottsdale, Arizona for 4 days with Dr Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Anita Moorjani & Shamini Jain… oh & my husband 😆
In order to completely absorb this amazing experience, I will be stepping back from work/admin tasks. Our amazing practitioners are all still at South Perth as usual, but the phone might not get answered whilst sessions are in progress.

Anyone relate? As many head back to work today keep the following in mind & be gentle on yourself, always!

Many years ago, I would regularly feel unwell on a Sunday afternoon. I experienced Migraines,depression, anxiety, frequent colds and a general feeling of yuck. It took me several years to realise that this was not a “normal” way of feeling. I thought that everyone dreaded the thought of going to work and all of the tasks in front of them in the week ahead!

Many studies have proven that deadly heart attacks are most common at the start of the working week, with rates highest on a Monday. Sunday was the next highest rates.

If you are experiencing high stress levels, anxiety or similar on a regular basis, think about this:
How long would it take for you to be replaced in your job?
How would it impact you if you continued to allow this pattern to repeat over & over?
How would it affect your loved ones?

Our bodies give us symptoms to let us know that there is something that needs our attention. If we continue to ignore these symptoms they get stronger & worse until eventually we experience major disease!

If thoughts of the week ahead are often causing you issues, what steps can you take to change this?
It doesn’t have to mean finding a new job.

- Meditate, be mindful or take some deep breaths as soon as you awake
- Take regular breaks to stand up & move a little
- Close your eyes & spend 1 minute, taking slow & deep breaths inflating your belly
- Try to focus on one thing at a time when feeling particularly stressed
- Try to make small changes to relieve the pressure, like listening to music etc
